First Lady Entissar El Sisi expressed pleasure at receiving Duchess Camilla and Prince Charles in Cairo on Thursday, according to her official social media accounts.
"It gives me pleasure to welcome Her Royal Highness Duchess Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, today, and His Royal Highness Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, in their second country, Egypt," Mrs. Sisi wrote on her Facebook account.
The First Lady added that "My meeting with Her Royal Highness was an opportunity to talk about women’s empowerment and the State's steps to strengthen their role, whether within the government or parliament and to empower a new generation of young Egyptian women."
The meeting also discussed the State's efforts to provide a decent life for all Egyptians through a series of presidential initiatives and programs, according to Mrs. Sisi.
The Duchess's words truly expressed her love for Egypt and her happiness to return to it for the first time in many years.
The First Lady noted that "I wish Egypt’s dear guest a good time in Egypt, welcoming Her Royal Highness and His Royal Highness Prince Charles again."
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Egypt’s First Lady, Entissar, received today, Thursday, HRH Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, and his wife Princess Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, at Ettahadiya Palace in eastern Cairo, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
“President Sisi welcomed the British Crown Prince on his visit to Egypt, asking His Excellency to convey his greetings to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth,” Rady said.
