First Lady Congratulates Egyptians on 6 October War Anniversary

Egyptian First lady Entissar El-Sisi congratulated Egyptians on the 47th anniversary of the October War victory.

She said that the 6th of October war is “one of the greatest and most glorious days in Egypt.”

“October war did not only embody a military victory but was an example of the Egyptian people's solidarity behind their armed forces to restore dignity, land and achieve peace,” she added on her official accounts on “Facebook”, “Twitter”.

"May God have mercy on our heroes and sons, who sacrificed their soul for the sake of the homeland," the first lady continued.

It is worth mentioning that, Egypt celebrates the 47th anniversary of the Egyptian Armed Forces victory over the Israeli army in the 1973 War.

The 6th of October War has become a lesson to be taught in all current military institutions.

The October War resulted in a number of positive changes in both the Arab and Regional arenas, for instance; making a change in the military standards and strategies worldwide, the Egyptian and Arab fighters restored back their confidence in themselves, leaders, and their just issue, reestablish the cooperation among all Arab countries that made the Arab world an international power.
