Egypt's First Lady Entissar El Sisi expressed pleasure at the celebration of World Children's Day, noting that it reflects the great importance of providing care for tomorrow's generation.
"Today marks the World Children's Day that reflects the great importance of providing care for children- tomorrow's generation, future builders, and our most valuable asset," she posted on her official Facebook account on Saturday.
The First Lady added that "Children are entitled to inalienable rights that they should enjoy, without any differentiation or discrimination."
"Hence, the state has always been concerned about preserving the rights of children, including those with disabilities, as they are Egypt’s most precious resource and hope for a bright future," Mrs. Sisi affirmed.
In March, under the patronage of the espouse of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Minister of Culture Enas Abdel Dayem announced the launching of the first edition of the State Award for Young Creators.
Hesham Azmy, Secretary of the Supreme Council for Culture announced on Sunday the branches, financial value and age group of the Young Creator Award.
