The long waiting for Egypt Fashion Week is finally over.

The inaugural edition of the Egyptian Fashion Week will take place from May 12 to 15, under the title, “Past, Present and Future”.

The opening ceremony will be held at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, while the next two days will showcase panels, exhibitions, and workshops at the Museum of Agriculture in Dokki, with the final day hosting a pop-up shop at the Mall of Arabia.

Red carpet and cocktails will be held at 8:00 pm, followed by a fashion show, a Gala dinner, and entertainment at 9:00.

Egyptian Fashion Week is a celebration of culture, heritage, and creativity and aims to connect the local, African, and Middle Eastern markets through design, craftsmanship, education, sustainability, production, and retail.

The inauguration features the participation of over 70 Egyptian designers showcasing their collections on and off the runway.

Local, regional, and international fashion schools, councils, organizations, and over 40 international industry leaders will come together to discuss trending topics and open up collaborations and business opportunities.

The panelists and guest speakers will share their insights, experiences, and perspectives on the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the ever-evolving world of fashion.

They will also showcase their unique vision for the modern fashion world and how to make it in a fast-paced industry.
