Fire shots have reportedly been heard during protests denouncing Al-Wefaq government in Tripoli, capital of Libya.

Earlier today, thousand of protesters have taken out to streets in several western cities to denounce what they described as 'unconstitutional' government led by Fayez Al-Sarraj, and its poor performance and productivity.

The crowded rallies which were organized under the title 'The Revolution of the Poor' took place in Tripoli, Zawya.

Moreover, Misrata has also witnessed unprecedented protests against Al-Sarraj. The city hasn't witnessed any protests since 2015.

The demonstrators condemned policies of Al-Sarraj, in terms of lack and deterioration of services .

Protesters complain about power cuts that last 10 hours a day in most cities, the lack of jobs, and non integration of youth, the absence of liquidity in the banks, the disappearance of oil from the stations, especially when Turkey-backed Syrian mercenaries are getting all their money.

A number of demonstrators also burned and tore pictures of members of the Presidency Council, most notably Al-Sarraj and Ahmed Maitiq.

The demonstrators demanded the fight against corruption and real presidential and parliamentary elections, not just a reform of a presidential council.
