Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed the latest regional developments and the Iranian aggression against the Kingdom of Bahrain during a telephone call received from his Finnish counterpart Elina Valtonen.
According to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the Finnish FM expressed her country’s condemnation of the Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain and other countries in the region, noting the resulting loss of life and property damage.
She affirmed Finland's solidarity with the Kingdom regarding the actions and measures it takes to protect its security and stability.
Furthermore, Finnish FM emphasized the critical importance of protecting freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz for the global economy. Highlighting the deep-rooted ties of friendship and close cooperation between the two nations, Minister Valtonen expressed her wishes for continued security and peace for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
