Finland has pledged a total of $3.7 billion in support to Ukraine, with $3.4 billion earmarked for arms supplies, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte confirmed during a press conference alongside Finnish President Alexander Stubb in Brussels.
The funding will cover a range of military equipment, including armored personnel carriers and ammunition. Finland has already delivered 30 packages of military aid to Kyiv and plans to continue participating in NATO-led weapons acquisitions for Ukraine from the United States.
The announcement highlights Finland’s ongoing commitment to supporting Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict and reinforces its role as a key contributor to NATO’s military assistance initiatives in the region.
