Finance Min.: 37 YouTubers Submitted Income Tax So Far

Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait revealed that the registered e-commerce dealers has so far reached 316, and the number of YouTubers, who have submitted their tax income are 37.

This came during the Minister of Finance’s review on Sunday during the meeting of the parliament's Planning and Budget Committee.

The minister said that the number of completed requests until the end of October 2021 is 44,000, out of the total number of requests submitted, which number about 70,000, noting that the disputed pool is around 296 billion requests.

The Minister of Finance pointed out that the disputed tax amounted to EGP 93 billion, including EGP 60.4 billion for income tax, EGP 28.1 billion for Value-Added Tax (VAT), and EGP 4.4 billion for tax on real estate.

He added, “The value of the tax agreed upon in the settlement amounted to EGP 37.5 billion, of which EGP 19.6 billion is income tax, EGP 16.3 billion in value-added tax, and EGP 1.6 billion real estate tax.”
