Fathy Abdel Wahab to Participate in Ramadan 2021 with "Phobia"

Egyptian actor, Fathy Abdel Wahab will participate in Ramadan 2021 with TV series "Phobia".

Abdel Wahab recently began filming a number of indoor scenes, however, production was halted due to changes of decor.

"Phobia" also stars Lotfy Labib, Ayten Amer, Ahmed Safwat, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Tarek Abdel Aziz, Mirhan Hussein, Mohsen Mansour, Darine Haddad, and others.

The series is written by Tarek Barakat, directed by Adel El-Asar, and marks Abdel Wahab's first lead role in a drama.

Abdel Wahab’s fans will also see him in TV series “Cairo-Kabul”, which will also premiere in Ramadan.

The series will also star Nabil El Halfawy, Khaled El Sawy, Tarek Lotfy, Hanan Motawie, and others.

It is written by Abdel Rahim Kamal, directed by Hossam Ali, and produced by synergy production company.

The series was scheduled to be screened in Ramadan 2020, but the production was suspended to stem the spread of the novel coronavirus, and its creators failed to catch up with the shooting schedule due to lack of time, especially since the series contains many scenes that had to be filmed abroad.

“Cairo-Kabul” revolves around 3 stories about the terrorist acts and plots the Egypt and Arab region faces.

The series centers around 3 main characters: a  journalist (Abdel Wahab), a National Security officer (El Sawy), and a terrorist (Lotfi).

Abdel Wahab’s latest artistic work is film “Lis Bagdad” (The Thief of Baghdad).

"Lis Bagdad" also stars Mohamed Emam, Yasmin Raeis, Salah Abdallah, Amina Khalil, Mohamed Abdel-Rahman, Ahmed Rizk, and others.

The film is written by Tamer Ibrahim, directed by Ahmed Khaled Mousa.

Film “Lis Bagdad” is a comedy adventure genre that revolves around a group of people searching for a lost treasure.

The film is Raeis’s first action-comedy role, which she appears in it in a different way then the audience is used to.
