On Thursday, Universal Pictures once again delayed the release of the “Fast & Furious 9” to June 25.
The studio also postponed the release of the animated movie “Minions: The Rise of Gru” from early July 2021 until July 2022.
The ninth installment stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, John Cena, Finn Cole, Anna Sawai, Cardi B, Ozuna and others.
The movie is helmed by Justin Lin, who directed “Fast & Furious 6" and written by Chris Morgan and Daniel Casey.
“F9,” had originally been scheduled for release in April 2019 but has been postponed several times due to the ongoing coronavirus.
