Paris-based Egyptian mezzo-soprano Farrah El Dibany dazzled the world with her French national anthem performance at the 2022 World Cup final in Qatar.

The Opera singer also looked breathtaking at the event.

She presented the ancient Egyptian touch to her look with a distinguished Pharaonic necklace by the Egyptian designer Rania Hilal and completed the look with another Egyptian brand called Nefertiti.

Hilal shared with "SeeNews" the details of her meeting with El Dibany and creating the pharaonic necklace.

"I feel that I am in a beautiful dream. I am a fan of Farrah El Dibany and was trying to attend her concerts, however, they were out of reach as it was held in either the Paris Opera or in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina," she noted.

The designer added that she saw El Dibany announcing on social media that she had five free invitations for her fans to an event at the Museum of Civilization.

"I contacted her and told her about my desire to attend and she sent me the invitation. I attended one of the most beautiful concerts in my life," she continued.

Hilal also noted that the concert included pieces from international shows like Carmen.

During the concert, the mezzo-soprano performed an Arabic-language opera by Amal Dunqul as well as songs by Asmahan and Dalida including “Salama Ya Salama”, which the audience performed alongside El Dibany.

“I waited after the show to thank her for the kind invitation and to introduce myself to her," she added.

The designer pointed out that she informed El Dibany that she was the designer of the necklace that she was wearing in the photo with her.

"She asked me to send her my Instagram page and it all began from here,” she added.

The designer expressed her desire to thank the mezzo-soprano for her invitation to the concert and asked her to choose a piece that she wished to own.

"I knew that she wore precious jewelry from French brands and get photographed by international magazines," she added.

Hilal noted that El Dibany chose the Pharaonic necklace from the Isis collection, which was sent to her three weeks ago, and wore a blue dress with it.

*The Necklace symbols

The color of the gemstones was very important to the Egyptians, royalty was represented by the color blue, and Lapis Lazuli was thought to protect against evil and good luck.

It was one of the most prized of all gemstones with its deep blue color with Golden flecks.

The Scarab is embraced by the protective wings of Isis, the Egyptian Goddess of magic and wisdom. It brings power, self-realization, renewal, and strong willpower.

Isis was also known for her magical power, which enabled her to revive Osiris and protect and heal Horus.
