Farouk Hosny, Egyptian artist and former Minister of Culture, talked about the Art Award of his Foundation for Culture and Arts.

"I was aware of the greatness of working in the culture and arts fields as these fields contribute to building and developing communities," Hosny said in a video posted on the foundations' official Facebook page.

"We have in our foundation a museum not only to display my work but also for the other people's works, and we also present awards to motivate the youth," the former minister of culture noted.

"We announced only via the foundation's website and social media accounts about the 2020 Art Award and we found that 460 youth entered and registered in the competition to win the award," he added.
