Farida Osman, the star of the Egyptian national swimming team, won fourth place in the final of the FINA World Swimming Championships in Hungary.
Osman managed to finish the 50-meter butterfly with a time of 25.38, achieving a new African record in the world championships.
The Egyptian national swimming team player was able to qualify for the final of the World Championships, in the 50-meter butterfly race for the fourth time.
Osman finished fourth in the semi-finals, reaching the finish line with a time of 25.46 seconds.
“To all those who lost faith, whether you in yourself or others in you… I hope this serves as an example for all aspiring athletes- when there’s a will, there’s a way! 2 best times, 2 new African records,” Osman wrote on Facebook.
