Fans to attend CAF Super Cup match

The organizing committee of the 2020 CAF Super Cup announced on Sunday that fans would attend the Al Ahly- RS Berkane with a capacity of 30%.

The CAF Super Cup is a competition organized by the football's governing body in Africa between the holders of the CAF Champions League and the Champion of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Al Ahly, who won the last edition Champions League title will clash against the Champion of the Confederation Cup trophy on Friday at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium at Al Sadd Club in Qatar.

This decision has been taken in line with the instructions of the Ministry of Public Health in accordance with the plan to gradually lift the restrictions imposed recently in the country in several stages to limit the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19).

Qatar receives the tournament for the third consecutive time.

Zamalek of Egypt was the last team to lift the title in Qatar last year after defeating ES Tunis 3-1.

The Red Devils won the Champions League title after defeating their arch rivals Zamalek 1-0 in the last year's final.

On the other hand, the Moroccan club won the Confederation Cup trophy after defeating Pyramids 1-0.
