IHF president Hassan Moustafa said on Wednesday that the 27th IHF Men’s World Championship in Egypt could witness the presence of fans.
The tournament is due to be held in Egypt from January 13 till 31 as it will be held in the presence of 32 national teams.
The IHF chairman added that fans could be allowed to attend the matches, despite doubts raised during the last period about cancelling the tournament due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Mostafa also noted that all players will undergo PCR tests after landing in Egypt in an attempt to discover coronavirus cases among the players.
