Fakhrizadeh's Funeral Will Be Held Monday

On Sunday, Iranian Defense Ministry announced that the funeral for late nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh will be held in Tehran tomorrow, Monday.

The funeral procession will only be attended by the martyr’s family members and high ranking military and defense officials, In order to prevent large gatherings amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that his country would respond in due time to the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, describing the operation as an “Israeli trap.”

He accused arch-foe Israel of acting as a US “mercenary” and seeking to create chaos, vowing Tehran would avenge the assassination of a top Iranian nuclear scientist.
