Faed Mustafa, assistant secretary-general of the Arab League and head of its Palestine and occupied Arab territories sector, met with Mohamed Sofiane Berrah, Algeria’s ambassador and permanent representative to the Arab League, to discuss issues of mutual concern.
The meeting focused on the latest developments facing the Palestinian cause amid worsening humanitarian and living conditions in the Gaza Strip following years of devastating war. Talks also addressed Israeli measures targeting the West Bank, including recent steps aimed at expanding control over land, which Arab officials describe as a practical embodiment of annexation and expansion.
Both sides reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between the Arab League’s Palestine sector and Algeria’s permanent mission, in support of joint Arab action.
