Facebook, Twitter Rumors: Has George Wassouf Passed Away?

A number of social media activists shared news reports about the death of the Syrian singer George Wassouf, but these reports were just rumors.

Dismissing the reports of his death, the Syrian singer posted a sarcastic caricature on his official Instagram page to make fun of these rumors.

Several Lebanese newspapers and media reported that Wassouf is still in Lebanon and do not not suffer from any diseases. George Wassouf is a Syrian singer, who was born in December 1961.

He is one of the most well-known and successful Arab singers as he released more than 30 albums. He has a large number of fans, especially in Lebanon and Syria.
