UK Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick said on Sunday that wearing face masks will become a personal choice in England, according to Reuters.
In press statements to the "Sky News" website, Jenrick added that the data that will determine if lockdown restrictions can be lifted this month was looking "very positive".
"It will be a different period where we as private citizens make these judgments rather than the government telling you what to do," he said.
Moreover, the British official noted that legal lockdown restrictions are set to be removed next July 19 in accordance with the government's roadmap.
