Culture Min. Celebrates Anniv. of 23 July Revolution in Al-Asmarat

On the anniversary of 23 July Revolution, Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, witnessed the launching of the artistic celebration organized by the General organization of Culture Palaces, headed by Dr. Ahmed Awwad.

The celebration will continue for three days at the open theater of the Culture Palace of “ Tahya Misr- Long live Egypt “ in the city of Al- Asmarat.

Abdel Dayem also inspected the Culture Palace in preparation for its re-operation - within the plan time to resume creative activities in various parts of Egypt.

Abdel Dayem praised the cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, the various ministries and civil society institutions to provide various cultural services for the people, including artistic shows, activities and productive workshops - that attract the city's children and women.

These activities also include seminars - dealing with many contemporary issues of education and awareness, literary and intellectual seminars, in addition to adopting the talented people and giving them the opportunity to express themselves.

The minister added that the celebration that is held for the first time for three consecutive days in Al-Asmarat, reflects the efforts of the Egyptian state to build a bright future and to provide a decent life for all people.

The minister indicated that the noble principles of 23 July revolution will remain as a beacon for achieving prosperity and development, stressing that the revolution  of 23 July  has succeeded in reviving the national spirit in the hearts of its contemporaries.

These principles also affirm the values of belonging in the coming generations.

 

The festivity was held under the supervision of the artist Ahmed El Shafei- head of the Central Administration of Artistic Affairs, directed by artist Hisham Atwa - vice president of the Culture Palaces organization.

 

The festivity was animated by “The Arabic music Youth Ensemble”, led by the Maestro Dr. Mohamed Adel Mostafa, presenting a patriotic sons including “Egypt, which is in my mind”, “long live Egypt” and many others.

It is noteworthy that the celebration includes presenting :- a performance of “ The Nile Ensemble for Music and Singing” on Sunday 26 July , a show for ”  Heritage Tanura Ensemble”  on Monday 27 July  - as a part of the activities of the Ministry of Culture on the occasion of the memorial of 23 July Revolution.

The celebrations will be held with total accordance with the precautionary and preventive measures to preserve public safety, presented on a number of the open theaters, in addition to the electronic activities presented on the ministry of Culture YouTube channel and its official website on the Internet.
