Ezzat Abou Aouf dies at 71

Egyptian veteran actor Ezzat Abou Aouf passed away earlier Monday at the age of 71 after a long struggle with illness.

The actor’s funeral will be conducted at Al-Sayyeda Nafesa Mosque today, after noon prayer, Head of actors’ syndicate, Dr. Ashraf Zaki confirmed.

Noteworthy, Abou Aouf was receiving treatment in one of al-Mohandsin neighborhood hospitals; he was suffering from liver and heart problems.

The Egyptian film actor was born on 1948. He played significant roles in many films and soap operas like: “Edhak al Sora ttlaa’ Helwa”, “Ard al-Khof”, “Hassan W Morqous”, “Helm al Omr”, “Zel al-Raes”, “Karima al Karima”, “Al-Ragol al Akher”,and others.
