The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and the South of the country, during daylight hours on Thursday.
Moderately hot weather is also predicted to prevail in the Eastern coasts, while the Western coasts will see hot conditions.
It is also foreseen that the country will continue to witness a rise in the temperature.
Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, predicted winds will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern coasts, and North Upper Egypt.
Pleasant weather is predicted to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and Northern coasts, at night.
It is also foreseen that moderate weather will prevail in South Sinai, North and South Upper Egypt.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 36C in Cairo, 30C in Alexandria, 32C in Marsa Matruh, 37C in Sohag, 37C in Qena, and 39C in Aswan.
