The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot weather to prevail in most parts of the country, during daylight hours on Sunday.
Hot weather is also predicted to hit the North Coast.
Wind will be active occasionally across the country.
The experts also foresaw the country will experience a 2:3 increase in the temperature from the north of the country to North Upper Egypt.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height varying between southwestern and northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, most parts of the country will experience moderately hot weather at nighttime.
Moderate weather is also predicted to prevail in the North Coast.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 39°C in Cairo, 33°C in Alexandria, 31°C in Marsa Matruh, 43°C in Sohag, 44°C in Qena, and 45°C in Aswan.
