Extremely Hot Weather Continues across Egypt on Wednesday, Cairo 38°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot weather will prevail in most of the country during Wednesday‘s daylight hours.

Hot weather is also expected to prevail in the North Coast.

The weather will seem hotter due to the high humidity levels, which will push up the heat index by 1-2 degrees.

The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.

There is a chance of rainfall prevailing intermittently in the Northwest Coast, North Lower Egypt, and Western Sahara.

Meteorologists also predict that the country will continue experiencing a rise in temperature.

Wind speeds between 30 and 35 kilometres per hour (km/h) are expected to occasionally occur across the country.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height varying between southeast and northeast surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Moderate to moderately warm weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night, turning moderate in the early morning.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 38°C in Cairo, 33°C in Alexandria, 27°C in Marsa Matruh, 42°C in Sohag, 42°C in Qena, and 42°C in Aswan.
