Explosion in Nigeria Kills 4 People

A suspected gas explosion killed at least four people in northern Nigeria on Tuesday, according to police.

According to Samila Dikko, the state police commissioner, the explosion occurred in the Sabon Gari area of Kano state.

Several people were sent to the hospital.

Security services have sealed off the area and initiated an investigation, while a search and rescue effort is ongoing.

The event occurred inside an animal feed store in the Sabon Gari area, according to Malam Muhammad Garba, the state commissioner for information.
