Expert: New Administrative Capital Tops on List of Cities Attracting Investment Globally

Dr. Mahmoud El-Adl, an economic expert, confirmed that the Egyptian government succeeded in placing the  New Administrative Capital (NAC) at the forefront of global cities that attract investment in the world.

He pointed out that the NAC   is Egypt's future project, and it was able to be the compass of the real estate sector.

He affirmed that investment in the city will continue for a period of time that lasts for 100 years ahead.

Dr. Al-Adl revealed that Maj. Gen. Ahmed Zaki Abdeen, President of the New Administrative Capital Company, meets with all developers on a regular basis to closely monitor everything that is going on in the Administrative Capital, and this is the secret of the success of the city that makes it attract all categories of developers, whether inside or outside Egypt.

Al-Adl explained that investing in the NAC  is safer, and it is the winning horse in the current period.

He assured that Egypt topped the 10 most important receiving Arab countries for foreign direct investment projects according to the investment cost during the period between 2015 and 2019, with 476 projects whose investment cost amounted to $ 124.48 billion. The economic experts indicated that the foreign direct investment projects received by Egypt provided jobs that reached 106,66 thousand jobs.

He went on to say that Egypt is the best option to access global markets in Europe and the Middle East, in addition to Africa and India. Egypt is the closest to the European and North American markets, unlike other major exporting countries such as China and the United States of America (USA), in addition to its distinguished location in the international logistics routes.

More than 8% of shipping vessels in the world cross the Suez Canal every year.

The  Canal saves a lot of distance, time, and shipping costs for ships that pass through it from east to west or vice versa.
