Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi opened on Wednesday Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) in New Borg El-Arab City in Alexandria.
E-JUST is one of the most key projects implemented by the Egyptian government in cooperation with the Japanese government, as part of its strategic plan towards upgrading the higher education system.
"SEE" sums up details about this distinctive university:
* E-JUST is a governmental Egyptian university built in partnership with Japan for postgraduate and undergraduate programs.
*The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) fully supports E-JUST by sending their administrative and academic experts to assist and guide in the technical and managerial system of the university, as well as sending academic experts from the Japanese Supporting University Consortium (JSUC) to support in teaching, conducting joint research and co-supervising graduate students.
*The Egyptian government fully runs and financially supports the university, which is managed by Egyptian members from both the academic and administrative staff.
The university building:
*E-JUST permanent headquarters is established on an area of 200 acres and the buildings occupy only 17% of the total area.
*Not only the designs are environmentally-friendly but they adopt the latest international systems and modern technologies.
*The constructions are fully funded by the Egyptian Government while Japan provides educational process related equipment and preparations.

The University departments:
E-JUST undergraduate studies include; Faculty of Engineering (FoE) and Faculty of International Business and Humanities (FIBH).
The University includes the following postgraduate Engineering studies; Electronics and Communications, Computer Science, Electrical Power, Industrial and Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Materials Science, Chemical and Petrochemicals and Energy Resources.
Also, different studying fields related to International Business Administration disciplines such as Accounting, Information Technology, Human Resources Management and Center of Liberal Culture.
