Royal families around the world have begun releasing their official Christmas cards for 2025, continuing a long-standing tradition of sharing festive greetings through family portraits.

This year’s cards range from formal commemorative images to relaxed family moments reflecting the year gone by.

In the United Kingdom, King Charles III and Queen Camilla were among the first to unveil their card.

It features a photograph taken during their State Visit to Italy in April, which also marked their 20th wedding anniversary.

Princess Anne opted for a characteristically simple card, using an image from her official visit to Australia with her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence.

The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a warm family photo of themselves and their three children seated together in a meadow, accompanied by a brief holiday message.

Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, released their card on December 19, highlighting a photo from the 2025 Invictus Games in Canada.

They also shared a holiday video reflecting on family moments and their philanthropic work throughout the year.

Across Europe and the Middle East, royal households embraced their own distinctive styles.

Monaco’s Prince Albert and Princess Charlene shared a stylish family portrait with their twins and a beloved rescue dog.

In Jordan, King Abdullah II and Queen Rania marked the New Year with a family image celebrating the arrival of new grandchildren.

Spain’s King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia chose a casual portrait taken during an autumn visit to Valdesoto, while former King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia released a separate card featuring their dogs.

Belgium’s royal family surprised followers with a summery-themed image.

Luxembourg’s new Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie issued their first Christmas card since ascending the throne, featuring a cheerful family scene with their two sons.

The Norwegian royal family has joined other monarchies in releasing their 2025 Christmas greeting.

The family shared a cheerful new photo to wish everyone a “holly jolly Christmas,” continuing the tradition of spreading holiday cheer through personal and festive portraits.

The image showcases the family together, reflecting warmth and holiday spirit, and adds to the growing collection of royal Christmas cards released this year from across Europe and beyond.

More royal Christmas cards are expected to be released in the coming days as the festive season continues.
