The European Commission has officially proposed to renew trade benefits for Ukraine for another year.
"The main objective of these measures is to support Ukraine and help its economy because of Russia's unprovoked and unjustified military aggression," the commission said in a statement.
"The measures also take into account ways to solve the problems of the European Union's industry, in light of the significant increase in imports of some Agricultural products from Ukraine to the European Union in 2022," the statement added.
This proposal must currently be approved by the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament.
