The European Union and Ukraine will hold a summit in Kyiv on February 3 to discuss financial and military support, according to a statement by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's office on Monday.
The statement said Zelenskyy discussed details of the meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, in his first phone call this year.
According to the statement, the two leaders discussed the expected results of the next Ukrainian-European summit scheduled for February 3 in Kyiv and agreed to intensify preparatory work.
They talked about the supply of "appropriate" weapons and new financial aid worth 18 billion euros to Ukraine.
