EU Praises Egypt's Strategy to Combat Climate Change

The European Union (EU) praised, Wednesday, Egypt’s pivotal role in combating climate change.

On Wednesday, Egypt launched National Climate Change Strategy 2050, on the sidelines of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) hosted in Glasgow.

"The EU calls on all countries to unite in order to save the planet from the effects of climate-related disasters," The EU in Egypt tweeted.

"The EU commends Egypt's role in addressing this pivotal issue on World Cities Day," it added.
