Dr. Camilla Zaretta, advisor to European Union and NATO, stated that negotiations regarding the Ukrainian crisis have entered a new phase but still require "strategic refinement" to ensure their effectiveness and sustainability.
In televised remarks, Zaretta noted a significant shift toward bilateral talks rather than the trilateral format.
Moreover, she indicated that this transition carries important symbolic weight regarding the resolution of international conflicts and reflects a change in the negotiation structure, despite ongoing challenges.
The EU and NATO advisor further explained that international focus on economic files—such as U.S.
President Donald Trump's economic projects like "Greenland", is diminishing the perceived value of political diplomacy in this specific file.
She also emphasized that this necessitates a reordering of negotiation priorities to build a more serious and transparent diplomatic path.
