Etihad Airways Launches Seasonal Flights to Egypt

Etihad Airways has launched seasonal flights during summer from Abu Dhabi to Alexandria.

The flights will start on the 2nd of July till end of August.

There will be 4 flights per week that depart Abu Dhabi at 2.15pm every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, arriving Alexandria at 4:00 pm.

Alexandria is one of the oldest cities in Egypt that is rich in many archaeological, historical sites and it contains different forms of architecture art that prevailed in different successive eras.

Library of Alexandria is one of the most significant landmarks in the city besides the lighthouse of Alexandria; one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

Egyptian expatriates living in UAE always seek spending their summer vacations with their families in Alexandria while enjoying the nice weather on its shores.

On his part, Robin Kamark, chief commercial officer at Etihad Aviation Group, said most of UAE’s residents prefer to travel to Alexandria in their holidays.

“It will be the best option for those who want to spend a wonderful vacation,” he added.

While taking into consideration the seasonal service, Etihad will operate a total of 32 flights per week from Abu Dhabi to Egypt; 28 flights to Cairo and 4 to Alexandria.
