The spokesman of the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry Dina Mufti expressed on Tuesday Ethiopia's keenness to solve the crisis with the Sudanese side over borders through diplomatic and peaceful methods.
Mufti urged the Sudanese troops to return to the pre-tension zone between the two states for starting negotiations, according to the Ethiopian Fana radio station.
Regarding Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) crisis, Mufti revealed that Ethiopia urged Sudan to resume the talks around the GERD crisis under the auspices of the African Union.
On the other hand, the Member of the Transitional Military Council Lt. Gen. Yasser Al Atta revealed that Sudan aims to enhance its mutual ties with Ethiopia.
Moreover, Al Atta added that Sudan seeks a peaceful solution for boarders tensions, asserting the Sudanese Eagerness to preserve its sovereignty.
