Turkish Presidency’s Director of Communications, Fahrettin Altun, announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to visit Egypt on Wednesday.
According to the statement, Erdogan will co-chair the second meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between Turkiye and Egypt.
The visit is expected to address bilateral issues and common interests, alongside an exchange of views on regional and international developments, with a primary focus on the situation in Palestine.
The Turkish Presidency also noted that Erdogan will attend the Turkish-Egyptian Business Forum, which is being held as a key component of the official visit.
