The Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC) on Tuesday launched its 115th humanitarian convoy, titled “Zad Al-Ezza… From Egypt to Gaza,” carrying urgent relief supplies to the Gaza Strip as part of Egypt’s ongoing efforts to support Palestinians amid the humanitarian crisis.
The convoy included dozens of trucks transporting approximately 6,850 tons of comprehensive humanitarian aid, reflecting the ERC’s role as the national mechanism for coordinating assistance to Gaza.
The shipment comprised more than 4,270 tons of food baskets and flour, around 980 tons of medical and relief supplies, over 70 tons of personal care items, nearly 50 tons of drinking water, and about 1,480 tons of petroleum products.
The ERC said the aid aims to address critical shortages in food, healthcare, and essential services in the besieged enclave, as humanitarian conditions continue to deteriorate.
The “Zad Al-Ezza” convoys were first launched on July 27, 2025, and have since delivered thousands of tons of relief supplies, including food, infant formula, medicines, medical equipment, personal hygiene items, and fuel, underscoring Egypt’s sustained commitment to supporting Gaza’s population.
