Environment Minister Says "Together for Implementation" Our Slogan from COP27 to COP28

Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, Ministerial Coordinator, Envoy of the COP27 Climate Conference, said that the launch of the initiatives announced by the Egyptian presidency with the various partners is clear evidence that together we can advance the climate action agenda, and overcome the gaps with a multilateral work system that seeks implementation, so that the slogan "Together for Implementation" is our slogan from COP27 to COP28 by establishing multilateral partnerships in order to support environmental action

The Minister of Environment indicated that the Egyptian presidency of the Climate Conference was keen on this by organizing the objective days of the conference to reach all possible solutions in cooperation with all partners, to reach the launch of the low-emission transport initiative for sustainability in parallel with the Sustainable Cities Initiative, and the waste initiative and mobilizing investments to start implementing executive measures initiated by Egypt to provide a model for the world that can be replicated.

She said that facing the effects of climate change requires relying on a holistic approach and complementarity of work to reach solutions that are compatible with all parties and through which we can address the challenges we face with innovative low-cost technologies that can be localized for countries and achieve a just transition, while providing more financing, while encouraging the private sector through development banks to invest in the field of sustainable transport to reduce risks in investment for the private sector
