Egypt’s First Lady, Entissar El-Sisi, joined volunteers of the Egyptian Red Crescent to mark the arrival of humanitarian aid sent to the Gaza Strip through Egypt, reaching a total of one million tons.
In a message posted on her official Facebook page, El-Sisi expressed her appreciation for the efforts of the organization’s volunteers and the broader humanitarian community involved in supporting Palestinians in Gaza.
“I was pleased to meet my sons and daughters from the Egyptian Red Crescent volunteers and to witness with them the moment when humanitarian aid sent to the Gaza Strip through Egypt reached one million tons,” she said.
The First Lady praised the humanitarian efforts behind the assistance campaign, describing it as a reflection of solidarity and commitment to serving those in need.
She extended her gratitude to all individuals and organizations that contributed to delivering aid, saying: “All appreciation goes to every helping hand and every sincere effort dedicated to serving humanity.”
Egypt has played a central role in coordinating and facilitating humanitarian assistance to Gaza, serving as a key transit point for aid shipments destined for the Palestinian territory.
