The two sides discussed plans for the development of a number of fields and timetables to put them on the production map, as well as the position of the new concession areas that Eni won in the first digital global bid, as well as developments in international oil prices and their impact on opportunities Increasing investment.
El-Molla stressed that Eni is a strategic partner for the petroleum sector, and the largest producer of oil and gas in Egypt, and is at the forefront of Italian companies that pump investments into the Egyptian economy, noting that the petroleum sector is currently working with its foreign partners, including Eni, to prepare for initiatives. which aims at reducing emissions at petroleum worksites and cooperate in the areas of clean energy and hydrogen.
On his part, Guido Brusco, Chief Operating Officer Natural Resources praised the fruitful cooperation and partnership between Eni and the Egyptian petroleum sector, stressing that Eni considers Egypt an important destination for its investments in North Africa and the Mediterranean.
He stressed the mutual desire on both sides to continue to enhance cooperation and partnership, during the coming years, and to continue achieving new success stories, to complement the remarkable successes achieved in the course of cooperation between the petroleum sector and Eni during the past years.
