Employers, Employees, Political Forces Go on Strike Today to Accelerate Forming New Lebanese  Government

Lebanon sees today, Thursday a strike attended a number of trade unions and political powers.

The General Labour Federation (  a federation that presents the trade unions) and economic entities ( that comprises the chambers of commerce and presents employers in the country) announced that it will participate in the strike.

Also, the Free National Current ( a bloc loyal to the  President of Lebanon Michel Aoun) takes part in the strike to accelerate forming of a new government chaired by the designated Prime Minister Saad Hariri to save the country from the complicated economic crisis that leads to hitting conditions of living.

The Executive Council of the General Labour Federation led by Besharah Al-Asmar calls for a national labor popular strike to accelerate forming of the new government and to remove all political and partisan obstacles that drown the country every day.

Al-Asmar stressed that all the Lebanese people should take part in that peaceful movement.

He assured that protesting the complicated political-economic crisis at all levels considered the aim of that strike.

He revealed that there is no reason to hinder the forming of the new government of salvation in Lebanon.

He indicated that the coming government must work to Snatch Lebanon away from the quagmire that drowned in during the last few years.

The Federation of Labour issued a statement that said the main headquarter of the strike will be in Beirut and its international airport.

Another local center of the strike will be in various governorates across the country.

On their part, the economic entities led by former minister Mohamed Shoqeer declared solidarity with the Federation of Labour.

These entities enticed institutions of the private sector to join the strike and rallying today.

The leadership of the strike warned over a joint statement of procrastinating that leads to ransack capabilities of the state and people.
