The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad, headed to Saudi Arabia to chair his country's delegation at the 41st Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summit today Tuesday.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai also flew to Saudi Arabia to attend the 41st Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summit.
The 41st Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summit is set to kick off later today Tuesday in the Saudi city of Al-Ula, under the chairmanship of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The GCC holds an annual meeting to discuss the progress made in achieving coordination, integration, and interdependence among the member states in various economic, commercial, educational, and cultural fields, in the interest of their peoples.
Earlier, the Kuwaiti foreign minister said: "Saudi Arabia will open its airspace, land and sea borders to Qatar, as part of an agreement to resolve a political dispute that pushed Riyadh and its allies to boycott Doha."
Earlier Monday, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman clarified that the Kingdom's policy, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, is based on a firm approach of achieving the supreme interests of the GCC and Arab countries.
