The Ministry of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates' Affairs has issued a warning to all Egyptian students who are studying in Sudan. The warning is to stay away from the areas that have been affected by the ongoing military conflict in Sudan.

According to a statement issued by the ministry, it has noticed that many Egyptian students who had been evacuated from Sudan after the outbreak of the war had gone back to Sudan to complete their academic papers. Some students had even resumed their studies at their universities.

The ministry has received several requests from residents, asking for help in getting their relatives back safely, as the fighting had escalated in the regions where the universities were situated. Accordingly, the Ministry of Emigration is urging all students who are studying in Sudan not to return to these areas and to protect their lives.
