The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) warned of a new unstable weather wave that will hit the country this Friday, Sputnik reported.
Manar Ghanem, a member of EMA's media center, said that Egypt will see unstable weather between Friday and Sunday due to the beginning of the Trough.
Ghanem explained that the Trough is a low-pressure wave that stretches in the high layers of the atmosphere, and causes this case of disturbance.
She highlighted that the country will see a decline in temperatures, unstable maritime conditions, and wind activity.
The official also urged people to keep wearing winter clothes due to the high decline in temperatures, and rain on Friday and Saturday.
Ghanem highlighted that the upcoming wave of disturbed weather conditions will impact the whole of Egypt, while the rain will fall mostly in the northern coasts, Lower Egypt, the Great Cairo, and the north of Upper Egypt.
