The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) warned citizens of extremely hot weather on Saturday.
EMA said that Egypt would see an extremely hot weather, and the temperatures would surpass 40°C.
It added that the temperature in Cairo could reach 43°C, in the north of Upper Egypt 43°C, and the south of the Upper Egypt 45°C.
The reasons of such heat wave are the blowing of western, and southwest winds which increase the temperatures, and decreases humidity.
In addition, the rays of the sun will be strong during the days due to the absence of the clouds in the sky which will raise experiencing temperatures.
Therefore, EMA presented various pieces of advice to Egypt residents such as drinking fresh and cold drinks during the day, using caps or hats to block the direct sunrays to harm the head, wearing light, colorful, and cotton-made outfits, alongside stopping directly under the rays of the sun.
