The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately cold weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Coast, during daylight hours on Saturday.

Moderately warm weather is also predicted to hit the South Sinai and South of the country.

Rain is expected to hit various areas across the country.

Wind will occur occasionally in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, South Sinai, and South of the country —making the air “feel” colder.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 2 and 3 meters with northwest surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters with northwest surface winds.

Moreover, most parts of the country will experience extremely cold weather at nighttime. Forst is also witnessed in Central Sinai and New Valley Governorate.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 19°C in Cairo, 19°C in Alexandria, 19°C in Marsa Matruh, 21°C in Sohag, 21°C in Qena, and 22°C in Aswan.
