On Sunday, the Egyptian Metrological Authority (EMA) predicted a slight rise in daytime temperatures across Egypt this week, compared to last week.

In a statement, the EMA said that the early hours of the morning in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the North Coast will still be moderately cold.

Additionally, temperatures are expected to be hot during the day in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt with cooler nights.

North Upper Egypt will experience moderately warmer weather during the day and colder weather at night with highs of 25-26 degrees Celsius and lows of 8-9 degrees in comparison with last week's forecast highs 22-25 degrees and lows of 10-12 degrees.

Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will see highs of 23-25 degrees, up from highs of 22-25 degrees, while lows will remain the same at 13-15 degrees.

The North Coast will see highs of 23-24 degrees and lows of 13-14 degrees in comparison to highs of 22-24 degrees and lows of 12-14 degrees.

South Upper Egypt will see highs of 28-30 from degrees and lows of 10-12 degrees up from 25-28 degrees and down from 12-15 degrees respectively.

South Sinai will experience highs of 26-27, up from 25-27 degrees, and lows of 16-18, down from 17-18 degrees.
