The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately hot weather to prevail in Cairo and Lower Egypt during daylight hours on Sunday.
In addition, extremely hot weather would prevail in South Sinai, and South of the country.
Hot weather is also expected to hit the North Coast.
Winds will occur occasionally across the country
There are also some chances of light rain in various parts of Lower Egypt, Canal cities, Sinai, and North Coasts.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with northeast surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 2 and 2.5 meters in height with northeast surface winds.
Moreover, pleasant weather is also expected to prevail from the north of the country to the north of Upper Egypt, at night.
Moderate weather is also expected to hit South Sinai and the South of the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 31°C in Cairo, 29°C in Alexandria, 28°C in Marsa Matruh, 39°C in Sohag, 41°C in Qena, and 43°C in Aswan.
