EMA Predicts Moderate Weather for Egypt on Sunday

The Egyptian Metrological Authority (EMA) predicted that moderate weather is set to prevail during the daytime on Sunday in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, northern Upper Egypt, and the northeastern coasts.

Mild weather is predicted on the northwestern coasts, while moderately hot in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.

The weather will be cold at night in all parts of the country.

Mist is expected in the morning on some roads that are in the direction of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, Suez Canal cities, and central Sinai.

Light rainfall (at 30 percent) is expected on Halayeb and Shalateen.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate ranging between 1.5 meters and two meters in height with southwestern to northwestern surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between one and 1.75 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.

Maximum temperatures: Cairo: 25C, Alexandria: 22C, Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh: 29C, Qena: 29C, Luxor and Aswan: 30C
