The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts warm weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northeastern Coast, and south of the country, during daylight hours on Saturday.
Moderately hot weather is also predicted to hit Northwestern Coast and South Sinai.In the same context, EMA warned that today would mark the beginning of a new unstable weather wave, seeing a decline in temperatures by 5 degrees.
Winds will be active in various parts of the country. In addition, light rain is expected to fall on the Northwestern coast
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height varying between southeast and northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 and 2 meters in height varying between northeast and southeast surface winds.
Moreover, most parts of the country will experience extremely cold weather at nighttime.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 25°C in Cairo, 21°C in Alexandria, 20°C in Matruh, 27°C in Sohag, 31°C in Qena, and 32°C in Aswan.
