EMA: Light Rain Expected in Lower Egypt, Great Cairo on Sat

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately hot weather to prevail in Cairo and Lower Egypt, during daylight hours on Saturday.

Moderate weather is also expected to hit the North Coast, South Sinai and North Upper Egypt experience hot weather, and South Upper Egypt face scorching weather.

There is a chance of light to medium rainfall in Cairo, and parts of Canal cities, and a light rain sometimes thunderous, prevailing in the south of Lower Egypt, light to medium rainfall sometimes thunderous in the South of the Red Sea ranges, South Sinai, and South Upper Egypt.

Winds will occur occasionally across the country.

Heavy mist is expected to cover the highways from and to Cairo, especially those that nearby water bodies, and agricultural surfaces. 

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to medium waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height varying between northwest to northeast surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Moreover, most parts of the country will experience pleasant weather at nighttime, turning moderately cold toward the end.

Nice weather will also hit South Sinai and south of the country.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 28°C in Cairo, 28°C in Alexandria, 25°C in Matruh, 34°C in Sohag, 36°C in Qena, and 37°C in Aswan.
